1 What is COSS?

COSS stands for Crypto-One-Stop-Solution and represents a platform which encompasses all features of a digital economic system based on cryptocurrency. The COSS platform consists of core elements such as an e-wallet, a cryptocurrency exchange, and a native token. Additionally, it provides related features and services such as market cap rankings, token listing and merchant tools (namely, a payment gateway or point of sale), a merchant list, and an early version of a cryptocurrency-friendly marketplace. All of the above aim to facilitate the mass adoption of cryptocurrency. COSS is continuously adding new features and services.

2 What is COSS token?

It is our very own cryptocurrency, which rewards it's holders with weekly payouts in all cryptocurrencies traded on the platform.

3 Where can I buy COSS?

You can buy COSS tokens on COSS.io.

4 What is COSS Token-Based Fee Split Allocation?

The COSS token generates an entire cryptocurrency portfolio to its holders derived from transaction fees on the COSS platform. This process is called the COSS TOKEN-BASED FEE SPLIT ALLOCATION, in which transaction fees are split in half by COSS DAO and distributed equally between COSS and COSS token holders. Through this process, 50% of all transaction fees generated by the platform are shared among COSS token holders.

5 What is the DAO?

DAO stands for decentralized autonomous organization, an organization that is run through rules called “smart contracts.” The DAO doesn’t store cryptocurrency itself, but makes calculations as to how it should be distributed. The DAO calculates fee split payouts from coins stored in cold wallets held on-site at COSS headquarters. The calculated values are added to COSS wallets. If you choose to withdraw funds, those funds will come from a cold wallet.

1 How can I use COSS?

On COSS you can deposit, buy, sell, trade, exchange and withdraw cryptocurrencies, and participate in trading promotions and token sales. You can also receive passive income from holding COSS tokens in your digital wallet. By using the exchange, users increase the amount of the Fee Split Allocation.

2 How can I register a new account on COSS.IO?

Registering a new account on COSS.IO is simple:

  1. . Go to COSS website and click “Register” in the upper right part of the screen;
  2. . Fill in the fields in the account registration form, including your email address, username, and password. You are required to create a username and password, so please make sure that the password is strong, and that you store your keys in a safe place (on your computer or a piece of paper);
  3. . Read, understand, and agree to the Terms & Conditions. Check the boxes that say “By clicking the checkbox you agree to the terms and conditions” and “I’m not a robot;”
  4. . Click “REGISTER ACCOUNT;”
  5. . Check your email. You will receive a confirmation email from COSS in your mailbox. Open it and click on the confirmation link inside to finish your account registration; Note that you will be receiving a confirmation email for each login action on your account.
  6. . You're all set! Log in to your account with the username and password.

Your cryptocurrency wallets will be created automatically once the account is registered. To use the platform, you will be required to submit personal information and some documents for verification.

3 How can I enhance the security of my account?

Here are some ways to improve your security:

  1. Always use two-factor authentication on your accounts (including e-mail).
  2. Use a different password on all platforms.
  3. Use an encrypted email service (e.g., protonmail.com).
  4. Avoid using public WiFi.
  5. Store only the amount of coins that you are trading on the exchange, and move long-term holdings to offline wallets.

4 Will I lose my cryptocurrency if I deposit less than the required minimum?

The minimum amount that you can deposit is 0.005 BTC or 0.1 ETH. If your deposit is lower than that, the amount will not be reflected in your wallet balance. To be able to see or use your funds, you will have to make a deposit that is equal or higher than the minimum amount. For example, if you attempt to deposit 0.003 BTC, you will need to make another deposit for at least 0.002 BTC before the total 0.005 BTC is reflected in your wallet balance.

1 How are the Token-Based Fee Split Allocations generated?

The COSS token generates fee split allocations in all cryptocurrencies traded on the exchange. The amount of the split allocation received by user is defined by a smart contract based on the amount of COSS tokens held. The fee split is transferred to COSS token holders' wallets on a weekly basis. Funds are generated by exchange transaction fees, as well as merchant fees from the POS-system and payment gateway.

2 How can I receive Fee Split payouts?

To receive Token-Based Fee Split Allocation payouts, you need to purchase COSS tokens and either store them in your ewallet on COSS or on external wallet, e.g., MyEtherWallet. If you store COSS tokens outside of COSS.io, you are required to setup a smart contract for the fee split allocation payouts. The step-by-step instructions for that are provided in the following tutorials:

  1. https://coss.io/coss-token-tutorial
  2. https://coss.io/coss-token-based-fee-split-allocation-tutorial

3 How often can I receive Fee Split payouts?

The fee split is transferred to COSS token holders' wallets on a weekly basis.

4 What is the payout formula?

The payout formula determines the weekly fee split payouts in the following way: [(Daily Trading Volume) x 7 x 0.002 x 0.5]/93 million Multiply that number by how many COSS you hold. You can get a general idea of your expected fee split using the Coss .

5 Where is my fee split?

The token-based fee split distributions will be displayed on your dashboard and will be credited to your wallets once you distribute them.

You will receive fractions of all the cryptocurrencies that are traded on the exchange and for payment within the payment gateway/POS system on coss.io.
